Shaundra’s path into dentistry began with a move from her Colorado roots to Texas, fueled by a desire to build something of her own. With a background in real estate, banking, and tax liability negotiations, she brought a sharp financial mind to the dental industry—but it was her heart for people that truly set her apart.

Though she graduated at the top of her class in dental assisting school, Shaundra quickly realized her greatest impact wouldn't be found chairside. Her true strength lay in connection. While covering the front desk of a local practice, she watched treatment acceptance soar—not through scripts or pressure, but through genuine hospitality. She realized then that in dentistry, relationships are the foundation of results.

Word spread quickly. Long before social media, dentists began referring other dentists, and study club conversations turned into partnership requests. Shaundra earned a reputation for bringing clarity to chaos, stabilizing cash flow, and leaving every practice better than she found it.

After a decade of helping scale the largest outsourced RCM operation in the country, Shaundra felt called to return to a more intentional, high-touch model. She saw a need for an approach grounded in stewardship and accountability—one that prioritized the people behind the practice as much as the numbers on the screen.

Star Dental Solutions was born from that vision.

Today, Shaundra partners with private practices that value a smarter, more sustainable way to manage their revenue. She understands that while dental school prepares clinicians to care for patients, it rarely prepares them for the complexities of modern revenue systems. She provides the steadiness of a backend that runs reliably in the background, allowing doctors to step out of the weeds and refocus on their craft.

Outside of the office, Shaundra is a wife and mother to three sons. Navigating the beautiful motion of family life has sharpened her ability to stay steady under pressure and bring structure to fast-moving environments. Guided by her faith and a commitment to excellence, she treats every partner’s practice with the same dedication she gives her own family.

At its core, Shaundra’s work is about peace of mind. Her approach is built on sophisticated systems, thoughtful execution, and relationships rooted in trust.

As Chief of Strategic Operations, Matthew provides the steady foundation that keeps Star Dental Solutions running smoothly. Long before the company formally took shape, he was supporting its growth behind the scenes—bringing structure, discipline, and forward momentum to the business and the systems that support it.

With a background in law enforcement, corrections, and school-based service, Matthew is accustomed to high-pressure environments where clarity, consistency, and follow-through matter. He leads with a calm, measured approach, keeping operations organized, standards clear, and teams supported without unnecessary noise. His leadership is quiet but decisive, focused on stability and execution.

In addition to his work at Star Dental Solutions, Matthew founded a company dedicated to supporting at-risk youth through safe, reliable transportation services—reflecting his commitment to responsibility, structure, and care for others.

Outside of work, Matthew is deeply family-oriented and known for bringing both calm and energy wherever he goes. Whether he’s wrangling toddlers, adding the right music to set the tone, or simply being a steady presence for those around him, he brings the same balance of reliability and heart that defines his leadership.

Lizzie brings over 17 years of experience in dentistry and serves as the Director of Operations at Star Dental Solutions, where she plays a key role in guiding both clients and Revenue Consultants through successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing growth. In her role, she focuses on creating smooth, thoughtful transitions—ensuring new partnerships and team members feel supported, confident, and set up for long-term success from day one. Known for her calm presence and deep understanding of dental operations, Lizzie excels at bridging the gap between process and people. She has a natural ability to anticipate needs, simplify complex workflows, and guide others through change with clarity and care—making her an essential part of the SDS leadership team and overall growth journey. Outside of work, Lizzie is happily married and a proud mom to two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, unwinding with a good crime novel, and moments spent in worship. At Star Dental Solutions, Lizzie is a steady, trusted presence—bringing organization, reassurance, and heart to every team and client she supports.

Kylie has worked in the dental field for 17 years, beginning her career as a pediatric dental assistant before transitioning into general dentistry, where she developed a strong focus on insurance and treatment planning. Over the years, she has built extensive experience navigating the complexities of dental insurance, with a particular passion for tackling the insurance aging report — an area where her attention to detail and persistence truly shine. An Iowa native, Kylie is married and a proud mom of three. She also shares her home with two Golden Retrievers and one cat, adding to her busy and lively household. Outside of work, Kylie enjoys cheering on her kids in their activities, spending quality time with family, and soaking up time outdoors whenever possible.

Outside of her professional work, Cassidy is a devoted mother of five and can often be found on the sidelines cheering on her kids.
